Welcome to Tractor Addict
Join me, Trevor Hughes — better known as Tractor Trev the Tractor Addict — on an extraordinary adventure that combines my passion for tractors with a heartfelt mission to support charities!
Follow my journey as I take my modified 1954 Grey Fergie tractor on an epic drive across the UK, traveling all the way from John O' Groats to Land's End.
About me
My journey began at the age of 13 when I first drove a Massey Ferguson 35x. From that moment, I was hooked—my dream was to own a tractor of my own. That summer, I dedicated my evenings and weekends to working hard and saving up. Eventually, I was able to purchase my very first tractor, a Ferguson TEF20 (though sadly, not the one I still have today). I later trained in the maintenance and repair of plant machinery, gaining the skills I needed to fix tractors. With this expertise, I started buying broken tractors, restoring them, and selling them. And that’s how it all started—one passion, one tractor, and a lifelong journey.

WHY John O' Groats to Lands Ends
The reason I'm taking on this challenge is to give back to the charities that have provided incredible support to my family and friends over the past few years.
The charities I am proudly supporting through this effort are St. Mary’s Hospice and Dementia UK.
St Mary's Hospice
St Mary’s vision is that everyone living with illness and death in South Lakes gets the kindness, love and expert care we’d wish for ourselves
our mission
We give expert care and compassion so those affected by advancing illness have comfort, choice and dignity.
Dementia UK
We are the specialist dementia nursing charity that is here for the whole family. Our nurses, known as Admiral Nurses, provide free, life-changing support and advice to anyone affected by dementia.
